Technically Inclined • People-Oriented • Web Generalist

About Me

My name is James “Seth” McCall. I’m a web professional living in Texas with experience creating favorable user experiences for online and offline user interfaces. I began my career at Accenture, traveling the US as an instructional designer and web developer on high-profile projects for clients such as Best Buy, Red Hat, Pfizer/Wyeth and other large industry companies.

After leaving Accenture, I returned to my alma mater, Baylor University, to work full-time managing the external web presence of the Hankamer School of Business while pursuing my Masters in Information Systems focusing on user experience design and security.

Recently, I took a role as Senior UX Designer at Fidelity Investments working as part of an internal consultancy doing a variety of UX work throughout the firm.

I take pride in being technically-minded while also being able to communicate effectively with people. I'm a t-shaped, web generalist with experience in roles across the web development life cycle with deep skills in frontend development, instructional design and testing. Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and two kids as well as bass fishing out of my kayak and shooting my bow.

I enjoy opportunities to share my work. You can view my resume above, but to fully appreciate my portfolio, you will need to request access. Don’t’s easy!
